Aurum Cascade is conceived as a suspended tribute to the richness of Indian textile heritage. Composed of thousands of delicate light-brass beads, the installation gathers into layered cylindrical forms that shimmer like dense handembroidered zari work. From a distance, it reads as a golden canopy; up close, it reveals intricate repetition each bead reflecting light like a sequin stitched onto a bridal saree.
The softened edges evoke the fluid drape of silk, while the vertical cascades recall threads falling from a loom. The warm brass glow enriches the tones of Kanjeevaram silks, Banarasi brocades, and heavily worked zardozi fabrics displayed beneath it. Rather than overpowering the merchandise, the installation becomes an atmospheric extension of it — transforming the ceiling into ornament. It celebrates devotion to craft, accumulation of detail, and the timeless language of embellishment that defines Indian sarees and the legacy of Zardozi.
